Astronomer Terence Dickenson
The Night Sky

Terence Dickinson is the former staff astronomer at the McLaughlin Planeterium of the Royal Ontario Museum.  He also served as staff astronomer at planetariums in the United States before turning to astronomy writing full time.  His 15 books have sold more than two million copies worldwide.  Before his recent retirement he appeared many times on the Discovery Channel and on CBC  radio and television.  In 1995, he received the Order of Canada.  Asteroid 5272 is named after him.
