Signal Brewery was host for our annual President's Night dinner. Jeanette Minaker was in charge of the arrangements . Tracy welcomed everyone and talked about the 98th year of Rotary in the City of Belleville.  She has tried very hard to make the year a success .

Tracy then thanked the Board and two members who have done their term of 6 years -- Nadine Langlois and John Sherratt.  She then asked Darrell Smith and Doug Peterson to the front and presented them with wine for their work as treasurer and secretary.  She also thanked Connie Reid (programming) and Jeanette (fellowship) with flowers for supporting her during her year as President.  Tracy then brought up her family and introduced them to the group:  her parents Sue and Doug , exchange student Danna , her daughter Anissa, Uncle Dave and Patty and Mike.
Her daughter Anissa spoke about what it was like to live with her mom as President of the Rotary Club of Belleville.  She talked about how her mom encouraged her to ski and 10 years on ski racing is now her passion, although at first she was scared, but her mom was behind her all the way!  In-coming President Andrew Bandler came up to speak about Tracy and her dedication to Rotary, not just as president but all the years leading up to position.  Tracy worked tirelessly in anything she did and did it enthusiastically.  Tracy will be the Program Chair for the 2018-2019 year .and will be Co-Chair of Camp Merrywood with Shannon Neely.  She will also be continuing  on as host/hostess of the Special Needs Christmas Party.  Andrew wants to have the the return of the Rotary Warrior and due to her dedication and because she quietly works under the radar doing work many do not see, the first warrior award goes to Tracy.
