The Anne Leverton Award is given each year to someone involved in Rotary Loves Kids, who goes above and beyond and shares their exemplary leadership skills and Service Above Self. The same attributes that Anne Leverton put into action as a Rotarian for many years. She is missed greatly and recipients of this recognition are very proud to receive it in Anne's memory. For the past three years, David Allen has chaired the largest fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Belleville -- Rotary Loves Kids. This year, David was joined by Co-Chair of RLK, Cassandra Bonn who awarded him with the coveted Anne Leverton Award. Cassandra noted David's perseverance in running this event during COVID for the two years previous. And just like the late Anne Leverton, David is truly dedicated to service above self. He is driven, committed, helpful, a dedicated volunteer and believes in giving back to the community, especially to vulnerable kids and youth. This award was well earned and if Anne were here, she would agree that David is most deserving of this award. David joins the other recipients - Bernie Ouellet, Jamie Trudeau, Dan Dickinson, Connie Reid, Greg Knudsen, Kelly McKinney, Sam Brady, Ken Dickson, Pat Feasey and Cassandra Bonn.
